The Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation website goes live

The Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation launched their first website (http://www.denverburnfoundation.org/) to help raise the awareness of their organization within the community.

In 1981, one hundred years after that first fire company was organized in Denver, Denver fire fighters created the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation as a non-profit, charitable organization. The non-profit organization was established to educate families, emergency workers, and the medical community about burn prevention and care while providing burn survivors and their families support and recovery assistance.

As with any non-profit organization, the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation's ability to accomplish their mission statement objectives depends on the generosity of others. Presenting a consistent visual and verbal message to potential donors is paramount to achieving the level of funding required to continue community programming.

MosaicGlobe Inc. is proud to have helped provide the promotional materials needed to build and reinforce the organization's role in the community and to solicit donations. MosaicGlobe assisted the Burn Foundation in developing a consistent brand system that included a refreshed logo design and marketing material, as well as a website powered by the MosaicGlobe content management system (www.mosaicglobe.com) which allows the client to self manage their site content.

Article: What is a Blog and Do I Need One?

(Or how does business change when everyone is a potential publisher)

Companies love these systems because Content Management shifts control of a web site back into the hands of the business rather than a specialist.

But what is a Blog? A Web Log  (more commonly referred to as a Blog) is a very basic content management system and has given the power of content publishing to anyone with an internet connection. The result is millions of online journals "blogging" about everything imaginable.

No doubt you have heard about the "blogging" phenomenon. Consultants and business journalist would have you believe that "business blogs are sweeping the business community" and that no business can afford not to have a blog. But the reality is that blogs are just another marketing tool and blogging isn't for every business.
